Online writing courses

Achieve your writing goals from
anywhere on the planet!

One of the great things about writing is that you can do it anywhere. And now you can learn it anywhere too with our range of interactive and convenient online writing courses!

All you need is a computer with an Internet connection and you’re ready to go. Just like our classroom courses, each online course has its own tutor who coordinates the lessons and is on hand for any questions and feedback. Resources are downloaded as MP3 audio files and PDFs. Most importantly,
each online course delivers the same content and quality that you’d find in its classroom equivalent at the Australian Writers’ Centre in Milsons Point.

And, just like our classroom courses, you have classmates! Alongside you in the online environment will be other like-minded aspiring writers, who you can interact with and share opinions, ideas and feedback.

So whether it’s a Buddhist retreat in Bhutan, snowboarding in Switzerland or pushed for time in Parramatta – now you can learn the skills to getting published and getting creative anywhere and any time that suits you!

“I appreciated the constructive comments on everyone's pieces. This is invaluable advice. I live one hour's drive from the Centre and have a pretty busy lifestyle. Doing the course online meant more time for writing and putting new skills into practice. The Australian Writers’ Centre has well structured courses with practical information and plenty of feedback from experienced online tutors.”

- Patricia Takahashi
