How to get to the Sydney Writers' Centre

We are only a couple of minutes from the CBD. This is one train stop from the Sydney CBD station of Wynyard, or one train stop from the North Sydney-CBD station of North Sydney.

By train:
We are two minutes' walk from Milsons Point station. When you get out on the Alfred Street side of the station, walk away from the harbour for about a minute till you get to the roundabout at Lavender Street. Turn left on Lavender Street and walk about 20 metres. You will find a new building called Latitude. We are at the street level in Suite 3 (Blue room) or Suite 5 (Red room). This is street level. Entry is by the terrace overlooking Lavender Bay.

It is also only a few minutes' walk from North Sydney station.

Evening parking:
There is plenty of parking around us. There is metered parking on Alfred Street and Lavender Street but if you park a block or two away you will find unlimited parking.

Daytime parking:
There is 2-hour metered parking on both Lavender Street and Alfred Street. If you want unmetered parking, there are pockets in Kirribilli where you can find parking. It is about a 15 minute walk. There are also parking stations in North Sydney, about a 10-15 minute walk. For daytime seminars, it is most convenient to come by public transport if you prefer not to pay for parking.
